Week 3 Round Up!

After this week’s games SFC are perched on top of the league with a maximum 9 points after they overcame a Hotspurs side 4-1 at Dempsey field, a brace by Shotton helping secure a perfect start to the league campaign for the new comers. Friday evening at Tanglin Trust School saw a solitary Duplo goal help 1TM defeat Gaelic 1-0. The result meaning that 1TM start the season with a win, draw and a loss and left the visiting side still looking to pick up their first points of the season.

Elsewhere, Sharples looks intent at retaining his Golden Boot status with two wonderfully taken goals, in the 2-0 defeat of a competitive Viking side, to take his tally to 6 for the season- Rangers securing their first win of the season, elevating them into second spot. Intent on not being left too far behind in the goal scoring charts, Kiki weighed in with a customary hat-trick to help OG overcome Aioli Monkeys in an eight goal thriller which finally saw the men in blue run out winners 5-3.

This coming weekend sees the return to action for Nippon, Hibs & GSAS, all will be intent on picking up points and hope to make an impact on the league table. Good luck to all teams.
