Title Race Taking Shape?

SCC and Gaelic Lions have now played seven games each without a defeat, and have both only dropped two points. It's starting to look like they might be getting into a title race. SCC are on a five-game winning streak, last week beating Latini's tee-total U-Fit wardrobes 3-0 in a mud bath down at Dempsey. Gaelic are the surprise package of the season so far. They've now won six in a row, and Brian O'Reilly has gone absolutely nuts along the way, filling his boots with 11 goals.

Gaelic have a big game tonight against Rangers, who aren't too far back from the leaders and managed a solid win over Vikings in last week's Friday night outting. SCC appear to have the easier fixture against Hibernians tomorrow, but reports that half their squad is away at a Bali wedding could give the most hopeful of Hibs some hope.

The other game tonight has a couple of strugglers looking to kick-start their seasons, with Casuals taking on the Swiss. Saturday has a handful of very evenly matched games. Fifth-placed Vikings take on seventh-placed Gaulois, who bounced back from a few dodgy games with a solid win over Rangers in their last match. Mid-table Hotspurs and Aioli are both coming off wins and will be looking to push on into the top half in their game. Closer to the bottom, Nippon just recorded a narrow win over the Hibs, and go up against the Germans, who showed a bit of form taking a point off Latini in their last match.
