Missing experience

Int'l Lions gathered once more for a highly spirited game VS Gaulois and started the game with only 11 players as the 7pm kick off seems to be a bit of a challenge for all teams (luckily, a few subs came during the first half). Int'l Lions started really well, putting pressure and playing high off the pitch to create a few chances within the first 15 min of the game. Unluckily for us, we were not able to score and a defensive mistake led to the first OGS opener. Shortly after, Int'l Lions reacted well and a play down the right by Hector to find Ouss in the middle of the box ended up with an OGS Foul. Unfortunately, once more, Int'l Lions missed the chance to equalize. Shortly after though, Robert redeemed himself with a goal following a nice through ball by Thibaut. Unfortunately, the hopes were short-lived following a second defensive mistake that led to another OGS goal, followed by a third one before half time. The second half was un-happening on both sides and OGS bring the 3 points home. Some good lessons for the new Int'l Lions team. MOM OGS - Dani

Back to winning!

A highly anticipated match vs some old team mates for our second Friday night fixture in a row. IL started the first half very strong, completely dominating the midfield and creating a plethora of chances without being conclusive: all credits to Fauzi for a world class save that end on the bar! After 15 minutes of distress, we were able to get composed and take the lead 1-0 up thanks to Dani who capitalised on a IL mistake. IL responded quickly through Robert to make it 1-1. The match came to a halt when our big man Daniel fractured his wrist landing awkwardly after a tackle... Speedy recovery Dan, looking forward to you coming back stronger! We were able to add 2 more goals before the half time:3-1. Game was on but not over! During the second half, OGS improved possession and composure with the support of the players coming out the bench. Shortly after coming in, Francois helped to bring the agression level up and scored a beautiful header for his comeback on a JB corner! OGS 4- IL 1. Thanks IL for a great match! All the best for the rest of the season. Looking forward to our next encounter OGS MOM: Daniel whom we wish a speedy recovery
