We are back baby

Finally we scored more goals than we let in our own end. It was a tight game until the first goal, a header by Melli on a sublime corner delivery from Domino. It was and extreme heat and the game fell in intensity every minute, both Vikings and OGS where unable to apply a high pressure on one and another. We scored on a counter attack and another header in the second half. It was a very fair and clean match without to many fouls from both teams. Well played to OGS, we wish you all the best of luck for the rest of the season.

3 pm kick off under very hot conditions saw OGS playing the Vikings for our third fixture of the season. We welcomed a few new players on OGS side and were looking to get our second win of the season knowing very well that it would be a tough job. We felt like we started off strong by passing the ball well and putting pressure. It however turns out short as we conceded the first goal relatively quickly. This proved to be difficult for us as Vikings starting to control the game and dominating the battle in the midfield. We created few chances but were not able to conclude when it mattered the most. Eventually, Vikings scored 2 more goals to seal the victory. Despite some good plays, we were not able to gel and play our football. All credit to Vikings who look solid. Special mention to Dante and Baptiste who made great entrances. MOM goes to Domino for dictating the tempo of the game.
