Report

Difficult start for OG (as usual) with Germans hitting the bar in the first 10min. Better last 20min of first half with Eric scoring first goal. HT 1-0. Good start of 2nd half with 2nd goal from Eric following a mistake from the GK. OG felt the game was over at 2-0 but Germans fought and came back with two beautiful goals including a nice shot from 35m. OG eventually woke-up during the last 25min with the entry of Ouss creating breaks through in Germans defense allowing OG to score 4 more goals

Report

Another loss despite promising effort and football quality

In line of ongoing strong performances demonstrating during the previous 2 games, GSAS started the game with an impressive line up, determined to get the 3 points against the first of the table, Olympique Gaulois (OG). This appetite was clearly felt immediately at the kick off and for the first 25 min, with multiple strong pushes, one of them with Anthony’s shot ending up on the bar after a wonderful pass from Hamza. After the water break, OG regained some energy and concluded a counterattack with the first goal of this intense game. While still giving their best, the GSAS concedededed a second goal after half-time, on a first mistake. Nevertheless, the team kept their heads up, and was able to make up for it in the space of 10 min, first with a header from Anthony, followed by a stunning shot from the middle field from our frenchy Florian. 2-2. OG was under the water, missing clear passes and not able to cross the middle line. GSAS had the opportunity to take the lead, with some fresh blood on the pitch, and it is on another unlucky move from the GSAS goalie that the Frenchs were able to lead again. 3-2. With a new set up on the GSAS side playing now with 3 defenders only to strengthen the attack, this strategy back fired with another 1, 2 and 3 goals from OG in the last 15 minutes, despite a very strong momentum from GSAS not decided to give up. 6-2. Game, Set and Match. Thanks OG for the good game.
