TGA Hoodoo Continues

1TM were good to go with 2 new signings; Jamie Roberts and the returning Benji Bucialli after a 6 year absence. Benji had flown in especially from Paris and didn’t disappoint. A lung busting 1st half from both teams was edged by TGA when the relatively quiet Sharples ghosted between the lines to score past POB, who was unfortunate not to save after connecting with a strong hand. 1TM Latini rued missed opportunities, two gilt edged chances both missed. Leo blazing over the bar was the memorable one. The excellent but tiring Benji was replaced by JR at half time. 1TM Latini continued with energy and enthusiasm but lacked composure in front of goal, failing to test the TGA stand in keeper. We finally equalised from the penalty spot on 94 minutes thanks to Rory. However, Sharples finished clinically in the 95th minute through a sea of bodies to claim the spoils in dramatic fashion. A tough pill to swallow for 1TM given the level of performance Thanks to Nick and Lynne for coming down to support

Miracle Sharples smash in at last min

Missing one of gaffer due to his trip to Waikiki, nevertheless TGA Rangers got a strong squad lined up for 3pts today, including Adam in nets as new and Kosuke standby at the sidelines. However a couple of last-mins drop made 13 + 1 to crush a traditional rival. We got stuck in right from kick-off and truly deserved to win, I believed until 2 mins. Nightmare Kev got his hamstring injury back to pull him out from the pitch, Sho came in and we swap several positions. Throughout the game Rangers possessed well and controlled the game, Jordan worked hard and effective in the middle especially, he kept on feeding to 18 yd box and trying to open the goal, it finally comes true at the end of first half, Mike ran into the space between goalkeeper and defender, put it into nets from 1-on-1 situation, having half time as 1-0 up with positive feeling for second half. It continued to second half, getting up in attacking and gradually created chances for second goal. Half way through Aaron came in for Dom as his debut, pushing ourselves and attacking more into them. However 1TM never gave up and they cut into the box and got a pen, 1-1 at 15 to go. We also never gutted with such, finally Mike sloted a rebound off clearing by their defense, it was electrifying, he's got a sweet right foot to make 2-1 before final whistle. 2 more league games and cup final remains in front of us. This is an important 1 month to finish up nicely. Thanks Latini for competitive game & high-tension until the last min, as always. But I think you can make a team talk a bit shorter next time lol
