Bad day for the Monkeys

Difficult game for us with most of our players away or injured, thanks to a couple of friends traveling through SG that we could fill a squad. Started the game keeping possession and moving the ball around until two silly defensive mistakes caused us two goals. After that, GAS started putting some pressure and gaining more control of the game. We started second half decided to turn around the game. Gained the control of the game back and we saw two beautiful goals from Richard Addy. Credit to our youth star Harry that made some time for football during his finals and got to the game for the second half, fiving an extraordinary assist to Addy in the first goal. We kept pushing forward and seemed we were going to be able to win the game, until another defensive mistake that ended up in a great counter attack by the best German player that started and finished brilliantly. Fair play to the Germans, always a pleasure playing against them.

Tight match, which could have gone both ways

We faced Alioli, the game started at 15:00 pm on 28 of April 2018. GAS started the match 4-5-1 formation with the following players "Desmond, Daniel, Meckes, Alex, Taka, Basti k, Flo, Dee, Mauricio, Basti W, Micha". GAS took advantage of it opening the scoring 2 goals (by Flo & Basti K) in the first half the game finished 2-0, with only 1 substitution due to "Alex's" injury and then "Marc" came on to the pitch playing as centre-back. However Aioli shortened the differences after second half and the game was tied 2-2, finally Gas scored their thirds goal (by Basti K) of the match a few minutes afterwards and it was 3-2. GAS reacted and put a lot of effort keeping and moving the ball, Gas decided to make their second substitution, "Mauricio" came out and "Oscar" came on to the pitch, finally it finished 3-2 at 17:00 pm after a tough game but an enjoyable game, although GAS did not have enough players and only had two substitutions on the bench. Overall was a tight game, GAS had many opportunities to score, but we missed all the opportunities. We wish Alioli the best for the rest of the season and there are several things that GAS needs to enhance on the accuracy when is defending or attacking, because Gas missed many opportunities to score and made several mistakes defending in the second half. Therefore Gas should improve the goal difference (-4) on the Cosmo league table.
