Despite all the chances we had we did not manage to at last draw. A very disappointing result after such a good performance last week. It is probably the game we had the most chances in since the beginning of the year, but still not enough. Game started quite well for us with two 1vs1 with their keeper in the first 20min and some nice long range shoots. But PM scored on their first incursion in our box after a brillant work from their right winger to make it 1-0. OG pushed for the next 20min and again created several chance with 2 more 1vs1 that could not be converted. Second half started again quite well with OG create another brace of chances before the Monkeys killed us twice with 2 quite counter attacks to make it 3-0. Felt like an uppercut and everyone was wondering how you can be 3-0 down with so many chances... A fourth goal followed again on their 5th chances of the match before the Monkeys started teasing and laughing. Always a annoying to see their bad spirit but not a surprise anymore. At last they pissed us off so much (never saw our captain so hungry in 8years) that the water break was a wake up call. We continued to push and score 3 goals in 15min and could have scored another few with a bit more realism in front of the goal. Good thing of the day, we won't have to play them anymore as we played them twice in the league and kick them out of the cup.

3pm kick off under he sun in turf. A decent squad assembled and the cosmo debut of long time PM hero zippy Goodwin. The game started with very little quality on our side and only the cat like reflexes of Graham kept the game 0-0 after he prevented OG 1 v 1 on a number of occasions. A moment of brilliance put us ahead when JJ dribbled the OG defender without touching the ball and put it in a plate for Joel to smash in. 1-0 at the break but all to play for. Second half And a few more chances for OG not converted saw the monkeys pinned back and defending. I can’t remember the second goal because our 3rd goal was so great, the best goal we’ve scored this year, 6 one touch passes from defending a corner to Harry smashing it into the top corner from 25 yards. Superb football. Another breakaway made it 4-0 and a hat trick for Joel after great work by PeterR Down the left. AT that point we withdrew Michele to make sure he secured his clean sheet and proceeded To concede as many goals as possible as quickly as possible. OG were taking their chances and we played the last 10 minutes of the game at 4-3. Could have been 6-6. Thanks to OG for the game. MOM Joel.
