Bring on Easter!

It was a tough game on Friday night for Hotspurs against a Gaelic Lions team whose performance demonstrated why they are flying so high this season. Despite the fact that the Lions were dangerous from the off - utilising their wingers particularly well - Hotspurs did manage to hold strong for the majority of the first half, and the only breakthrough came via a looping shot from the edge of the area which dipped under the bar about 20 minutes in. 1-0 Gaelic at the break. Hotspurs started the second half well though, and were unfortunate to concede (arguably against the run of play at that point) to a long ball over the top which they failed to deal with properly. From that point the game opened up and the Lions were able to add a third on the counter-attack in the closing stages. A difficult couple of weeks for Hotspurs, but a week off for Easter now, and a chance to rest up before the season's final stretch. Congratulations to Gaelic on a solid win and excellent season so far.

Hi evuryone! It's me! Churchie! The gaffur asked me to right this weeks match rapport because he is very busy with his job! The gaffur is very smart at his job! We playd Hotspurs the other night and beat them! FOr aminute i thought we wur playing the actual Hotspurs from England that my friens Simon likes but it wasnt them I dont think because they play in ehite and this team playd in blue! My friend Brian scored a great goal! We laughed and clapped our hands! Then we had a brake and I had some whater. Then peTesy ran realy fast and scored as well! He is great at football but is injud inj ur he is hurt now I mean so cant play for a wile. Hanley came on a he stealed a goal away from Buters who is our best player by miles but I didnt see it becoz I was looking at my girlfriend tlkaing all day to teh gaffur. She never leeves him alone! Im tired now after righting this for the past 4 hores and i now i ned to sleep. Good biy every one! My names is Robert!
