Tough game but good win

This was the match with Lions who is in the 2nd position in the Cosmo. They got an opening goal, but Nippon caught up with them from set piece (Nanai). We got a 2nd goal from corner kick (Minato), but Lions caught up with us soon by PK. 2-2. Soon after the equalizer, our striker Kakimoto got a 3rd goal thanks to his individual skill, score is 3-2 in first half. In the second half, Lions had a big chance of 2nd PK, but fortunately they failed it. In spite of Lions high possession, Morise got a 2nd yellow card. 10 FC guys struggled against Lions strong pressures and finally got the big win. Thank you Lions and hope to see you guys next season.

Fizzlin' out.....

Great season for the Lions but came up short against our old mates Nippon on the final day. We had an absolute boat-load of lads missing but we still should have had enough to put this game away but individual errors cost us and Nippon got the three points, well played lads. Quick shout out to Ryan not Rhino who banged his face off Petesy's arse and had to be brought to the hospital by Rhino not Ryan. Daz capped off his last game by scoring and missing a penalty! Classic! #class #classic We are saying cheerio to a couple of lads and I wanted to say thanks for the contributions this season and over the last few years to Daz for the whitest whites, Seb the Argentinian Love God, Brian O'Reilly O'Reilly, and JJ. Also thanks to Koskar for stepping up and helping out in the last few weeks. Gaelic Lions signing out. Peace and good will to all. See you in August.....
