A week after a convincing win against the same opposition, Vikings knew this would be a much tougher challenge. After a couple of late dropouts, we still managed to put out a strong team against a very strong Latini side. Vikings started well, creating a couple of chances, however fell behind to a set piece before the water break. We reacted well and Alberts great pressing won the ball back high up the pitch and got the ball to Sasha who finished very well with his left foot from a tight angle. 1-1 half time, and eventually at full time after a fairly even 2nd half. Vikings losing Tomas to a second yellow with 20 mins to go. Unlucky on first booking, but thats enough on that. Onto pens, always a lottery. Some great pens from our boys, shout out to Kim, Eric and Max for taking the last 3 which sealed the win, and David for a good save at a crucial time. Onto the final for us! which caps off a great run of form and strong season. Thanks to Latini for a good game, and congrats again on the League!
