Back to winning!

OGS faced the International Lions for the second time this season. The first match resulted in a victory, and we aimed to maintain our flawless record against the new joiners in the Cosmo league. Right from the kick-off whistle, we applied a lot of pressure and eventually managed to open the scoring with Arthur's first goal of the season. However, our lead was short-lived as IL equalized rather quickly. With the score tied at 1-1 at half-time, we made a slight change in tactics and returned to the pitch with the determination to secure a win. With just 10 minutes remaining, IL conceded a free-kick on the edge of the box, and JB unleashed a rocket into the net, making it 2-1. We maintained our composure and positioning to finish the match victorious, securing another crucial 3 points. A big thanks to IL for a challenging match, and good luck to them for the rest of the season! MOM: Fauzi

Report

International Lions gathered on this Saturday to face OGS looking to bounce back from the last game vs Gaelics. OGS started well playing high up the pitch and found some space in between our two center back for Arthur, their striker, to score the first goal. International lions reacted well with a great run from Max starting from the left that ended with a powerful shot and a goal. 1-1, ball in the middle. International Lions continued to push and OGS found themselves lucky not to concede a penalty for a hand raised all the way to the sky that stopped a shot from Julio that was looking for his first goal with IL. Second half saw International Lions push hitting the post 3 times, seeing the OGS keeper Fauzi make great save. Unfortunately, if you are not able to score, it becomes difficult to win games. Good luck to OGS for the end of the season.
