It's finally looking like football again

After a struggling start to the season it's great to see we are able to play football again. We got a strong start to the game and Meli bagged and early hattrick. The half time score showed 4-0 to Vikings after a solid half with good ball movement, patience and pace in the game. We got under massive pressure in the second half where Hotspurs looked like a changed team, putting in a very strong effort ending the game 4-0. Thanks for a clean game.

Not Good Enough

Hotspurs met the Vikings on saturday on the back of a fantastic win against Nippon. With a decent sized squad available of regular players, confidence was high during the warm up. When the game started it was a completely different story, Hotspurs were flat, silent, and second to every ball. Vikings cruised into a 3-0 lead without even breaking sweat. They made it 4-0 before half time. A change in formation after the break and players finally getting into the game saw a better performance in the second half - even though the game was obviously long lost. One more pre xmas game this week v OGS and Hotpsurs have to bounce back and put in a better performance. Well played to Vikings who must have enjoyed their saturday afternoon stroll around Turf City.
