Still Without A Win
Still without a win for the season, Rangers turned up with a full squad believing it could take something away from Latini. However, not even our returning ex-captain Bernd the butcher could prevent us losing a narrow contest 2-1. It was the worst possible start for Rangers with the Latini forward pouncing on a lost ball after only 3 minutes to slot it past Alvaro. Next it was 2-0 after 20 minutes from a clinical finish from a Latini player who was left with way too much time on the ball...mind you his shot was pin point!! From that point onwards, Rangers never conceded another goal mainly due to another great game from our keeper Alvaro. Rangers fought back into the game with a well timed run and finish from Bernd just before half time. Down 2-1 with 45 to go, we were always in the game but unfortunately not creating enough chances up front. Well done to Latini who passed the ball around well & probably deserved the win. A win is not far away for Rangers who really shouldn't be pegged at the bottom of the table.
Another man of the match performance from our keeper who is having a good season despite conceding plenty!!
