4th win a row
Hotspurs gave us two serious beating the previous season so we knew it was going to be a tough encounter. With SCC, they have the best individualities but to be fair to them they were missing some key players with Tall Chris, Essad, Abbas, Mike and some other guys. Latini was also missing 5 regulars but our team still looked good.

We started better than hotspurs and could have scored the opener by Benji and Olive Magaud but Neil did well as a keeper. OUr last pass was not accurate enough.  Slowly slowly Hotspurs came back in the game, Latini leaving too much much space in midfield and defending too low in our side. The game was balanced but no real opportunities on both sides.

Half time speech was focused on reducing the space in between the lines so we could be more compact, attacking and defending as a block. We knew we would have to fasten also our short passing as experienced Binnsy/Ally would control easily long balls or too direct plays.

We started well and the opener came after 5 mins, when I managed to score a nice 20 m+ shot under the bar for the opener.  As usual scoring the opener is often decisive in this league, we started to get really in confidence and the super-subs made the difference. Angel and Daniele did very well, benefiting from the terrific work of Magaud/Michel during of the first hour. The 2-0 resulted from Angel efforts to Adrien finished by Daniele for his first goal of the season
3-0 was a very nice team play with Daniele delivering a clinical cross to Angel who did not miss the occasion to open his counter this season.
4-0 was benji outpacing several defenders for Daniele who did not miss the chance by sloting the ball under the bar with his left foot.

Overall, very much deserved victory against a solid Hotspurs.

MOM had few contenders (daniele, Lacourt, yann who is a monster) but it goes to Benji for an oustanding and mature performance.

Latini should continue working hard at training and be serious on Saturdays. Most importantly we are having fun and competition is helping to the guys to give the max.

Next week Nippon who are always proposing good football with a much better defense this year. Looking forward to it.

Thanks for the guys who came down and support us (Etienne/Christer/Luke)!
