The game was played in a mud bath at SCRC. It was near impossible to play any football on the pitch as the Dutch v Hibs game had left the pitch looking more like a muddy farmer's field. In any event, both teams tried to play some football.

Despite so much Ubin possession, pressure and goal scoring chances, the Germans took the three points and a clean sheet and we can have no arguments about that. The German goals were both very well executed.
