As a follow up of the game against the Swiss, OGS players showed from the start commitment, composure and solidarity in front of the best team of the Cosmoleague. OGS tried to stick to a game plan and to fight on every ball. OGS managed to contain SCC strikers for most of the first half and even got a couple of good opportunities when counter attacking to get the opener. However Hutch managed to put in the first goal for SCC after what looked like a missed control of the ball, followed by a quick and powerful shot on target. OGS would not be destabilized and could keep playing and stay in position. 1-0 at halftime reflected well the game.

Second half would start on the same pace, with OG still preventing SCC to develop their best game. Then SCC would proceed to a couple of substitution with excellent players like Mehdi and David coming in. After 15mn SCC would put 2 goals on cornerkicks and freekicks. Game looked over, but Luciano blasted a 25m screamer past SCC goalkeeper, reviving for a short while our hopes. Unfortunately OGS players were exhausted and the last 15mn would see SCC put 2 more goals in.
Congrats to SCC who obviously deserved their victory and good luck for the rest of the season.

Congrats also to OGS who fought well against a much better team. Now it's already Christmas Break and OGS is looking forward to the second half of the season, with the return of many missing players. We hope to at least win some games and get out of the last position which doesn't reflect the level of our game.
