Disappointment
After a scrappy victory last week the Hibs entered this game hoping to take some confidence from the previous result and move up the league table.  Unfortunately this wasn't to be.  The final scoreline was not a fair reflection of the game and up until the last 20 minutes Hibs were in the game and confident of getting a result.

The first half was fairly balanced with few clean cut opportunities for both team. A mix up in the back line though gave Swiss a chance - although it may have been offside - and John could do little to stop the on rushing Swiss player finishing.  1-0 down in other matches this season that has seen the HIbs wilt, but this time they managed to come back fighting.

After halftime the pressure from the Hibs finally paid off when a good move found Boothy at the back post, his shot which was going towards the corner flag struck a Swiss defender and the stroke of luck leveled the game (Boothy's vision problems coming to the fore once more as he tries to claim the shot was on target).  At this stage the Hibs were feeling confident of pushing on for a victory.  However after a decision went the wrong way in the Swiss half a swift break saw a deep ball allude the defence and the Swiss player squeezed home a goal at the far post from a tight angle.

This time there was to be no fightback as the Hibs became rushed in their play and the Swiss hit 2 well taken goals to put the game beyond doubt.

The defence continues to work hard but we need to improve our play going forward and retention of the ball if we are to pick up our performances, and this needs to involve all 10 outfield players.

Welcome back to Lev after some time out injured.

Thanks to the Swiss for a fair game.
