A better day at the office
n

Ubin started with a strong team and opted to play 4 3 3 on the terrible Henderson Pitch (far too small, long grass, and a slope running down one side).

n

Despite the poor pitch and the hot conditions Ubin and the Germans played out an entertaining game.

n

Ubin took the lead after about 30 mins from a very good free kick from Min. Ubin then won a penalty but failed to convert the same. The penalty miss proved to be costly as the Germans equalised shortly afterwards after an Ubin headed clearance landed at the feet of an unmarked German player who was allowed two opportunities to score.

n

HT - 1 - 1

n

Ubin started the second half brighter than the Germans and looked sharper upfront. As the sun took its toll, the German defence started to tire which afforded more space for Min and Annuar to exploit. Min in particular looked sharp all game and his good form was rewarded by 2 further goals - each of which followed some good general play from the team.

n

The Germans pulled one goal back (a good long range drive) near the end of the match to make it 3 - 2 and that's how the game finished.

n

MOM - Min

2nd MOM - Augustin
