Ubin need more luck and composure
Ubin started very slowly on the heavy SJI pitch and Swiss had the better of the exchanges; a ricochet off Joel was well saved by Amin and the Swiss striker should have finished a relatively straightforward opportunity soon after.
Ubin finally put together some possession and pressure, a good cross found Min beyond the far post - his strike was very well saved onto the post.
The Swiss did have more territory and a quick break set allowed their striker catch Ubin off guard, Mike C's last ditch tackle was just mistimed and as the last man the ref had no choice - down to 10 men.
Ubin quickly changed a midfielder for a striker and Pete immediately had a positive impact finding Min in space on the right who unleashed a fabulous shot, beating the keeper from 25 yards.

2nd half
The equaliser came early from a very acute angle and was quickly followed by the second from a fast break.  Amin was caught in no mans land outside his area and dived to save the goal bound shot, this really summed up the farcical nature of the game.
Following the Swiss's 3rd, man of the match Min scored an early goal of the season contender with a lovely strike directly from the kick off.
On the balance Ubin didn't do enough to get a result and the extra mennand injuries to key Ubin players did take it's toll, but if they can show the 2nd half spirit more consistently then the results will start to change.
We wish Ali anspeedy recovery from his achilles injury and hope that Jamie will benfit this week after suffering a particularly nasty knee high tackle!!

Thanks to the match officials.
