When all goes wrong!

Another defeat 3-1 for us and most importantly the serious injury (broken wrist requiring surgery and metal plates) for our belgium warrior Etienne. We are all with you mate.

With many players missing, Latini decided to apply the same tactics then our precedent victory against Rangers. The first 20 min were in our favor and concluded by a nice goal from Olivier Magaud after a surgical assist from Olivier Lacour. Another fanstatic move ended up with a shot on the post by our striker Olivier. Again we did not kill the game.....again everything turned sour in 20 mins.

It started with a very stupid and useless foul on Etienne which resulted in broken wrist and a "play-on, it is ok " by the ref. NO COmment. Two min later Mike fell in the box, for a robbery penalty. No comment. 1-1

A bit disorganzied and mostly angry after the injury and the unfair decision, Latini started to loose self control and discipline which materialized by a very nice goal from Mike 2-1. Rnagers almost killed the game with their striker shooting on the bar while at the six meters.

After setting the record straigh at half time, Latini produced one of their most accomplished second half. We dominated the whole second part of the game creating clear chances by Jun, Olivier, Manu, Fafa, Luke. Rangers could barely pass the midfield.

Unfortunatly while pressing hard, Olivier lost his temper and got a red card. On the same free kick (80 mets from our goal), we took a own goal resulting from mis-communication between JB & Brent. 3-1

Instead of giving up, Latini 10 against 11 played a fluid football and fought until the last second. We could have scored by Fafa or Jun but luck was not absent on this day.

Congrats to Rangers who fought on every ball.

We deserved the draw on this game- the ref was an absolute disaster.

Compared to 2007, the problem is not collective anymore. All players worked hard, played simple and for the team until the last second of the game. Our defeats are the result of individual mistakes which in a way in very encouraging since they can be solved with slightly more concentration and self control. This year, we pay cash every single half mistake and no luck upfront. I am happy of the behavior of the players saturday although we lost again. We are very close to be back to our last year level if every single players takes their own responsability.

Man of the game goes to Jun for an outstanding performance due to the presence of two japanese girls on the side line. The guy was everywhere.
