Gaulois sink again

Text From Coach JB)

New defeat for OGS. From the start , Gaulois were quickly overwelmed by speed and physical impact of Pulau Ubin. It was no surprise that Ubin open the score after 10min. Gaulois did not manage two consecutive passes so Ubin had totally the control of the ball. Only one Gaulois played brilliantly , our goalkeeper Dimitri, delivering his best performance  for OGS this season. A 30m free kick mis managed by OGS defence offered the second goal to Ubin. It was then looking very bad, but that's when a quick conter attack was well managed by Victor who dribbled Ubin keeper and scored in the empty nets. Ubin got plenty of chances and we were lucky to reach half-time with only a one goal deficit. Shortly after break, Ubin did not doubt for long scoring two goals on well managed counter attacks, always involving their main technical leader Dave. Referee had to hand out some yellows to hold the game as Gaulois were getting frustrated (and teased by some Ubin players). A red card should have been given to a Ubin player tackling one of our striker from behind, breaking a good scoring opportunity. However no doubt that Ubin deserved their victory; their team work, commitment and solidarity should be examples that we must follow if we want to finish this season heads up.
