Hard fought draw
With a number of changes and new faces from last week it was going to be tough to transfer the performance and momentum we built up last week verses the Dutch.  The game was by no means a classic and for much of it the Hibs failed to get any real possession and attacking football going.  The defense had a tough afternoon and once more Burkey stepped upto the plate and deserves his second MoM of the season for some fine keeping, including 2 superb saves.

On the hard pitch at the SSS we really needed to play the ball short and on the deck, especially with just one upfront, unfortunately we didn’t achieve this and the front men found it difficult to get in the game and hold the ball up.  Some excellent performances from the new boys Glen, JP and Kai who I am sure will fit into the team quickly.

Overall  thanks to some excellent work in defense a draw was grinded out, we just need to gain some more confidence on the ball, keep possession better and work the ball through midfield.

Thanks to Latini for another hard fought game.
