AWOL
Not the prettiest of games to watch and a deserved victory for Germans.
The Germans applied the pressure early and were clearly hungrier than Rangers who looked as if they hadn't had their Weetabix that morning.
nQuicker to the ball and more organised, the Germans found the net twice with balls down the middle and an AWOL Rangers defence.
Rangers were lucky not to go further behind after what looked like a cheeky handball, what looked from the side line like a certain Penalty shout and an advantage that should have been played where the German Striker finished very well and the referee call back play to give the free kick.
Clearly the Germans had the better of the first half
Rangers started the second half with a bit more fire after a frank talking to by the gov and were able to put together few more attacking moves.
The breakthrough came following a fluffed corner and the ball was cleared to Joaquin who sent the ball back into the box and found Gura who controlled well and was just about to finish off when one of the German defence obligingly did the job for him and poked the ball neatly into his own net.
nThe remaining 20mins saw more pressure from Rangers to try to get an equaliser and some relief from the heat with a cool shower.
Rangers showed better commitment in the second forty five to even up the half however the game finished 2-1 to the Germans with was a fair reflection of the game at the end of the day.
