Overall a very professional performance from the Latini squad, playing some good football at times and approaching the game and competition with the right mindset. We started the game with a 4-3-3 formation.

We had a large amount of possession and started to create a few chances. A few shots of the post by Dani. Eventually Gaetan would get the goal with a nice header. Another goal followed from our top striker Olive Magaud. Dani made it 3-0 with a nice follow up and half volley from inside the penalty area. 3-0 at half time well done but we had to work hard across the field, midfield, defence and attack to ensure we contained and continued to contain the threat from the Gaulois team. We continued in the same manner and at times played some nice football with quick passes down the left and right flanks. We squandered a couple of chances from inside the penalty box that could have seen us increase the scoreline. Eventually it would another goal by Olive Magaud that settled the final score. A wonderful set up involving nice 1 – 2 touch passing from 2 or 3  midfield players finished off by a nice run into the box and a calm finish from Olive Magaud.

Overall a solid performance by the entire squad, defensively we were alert, focused and did our job well, the defence defended high and well and together with our goalie ensure a cleansheet, the midfield covered a lot of ground to ensure we defended with numbers and supported the attacks, our strikers scored 3 of the 4 goals and maybe could have had more. A good introduction for our new player Barun and good to see FX back in the team and getting involved. A good & solid start to the season but I m sure we will need to improve to compete with the teams in the top tier.
