The poor start to the season continues for Latini. A game to forget as quick as possible. Not much action on the pitch in the first 60-65min. Latini started slow, and looked lethargic for most of the game. We managed to contain the Hibs for most part of the game and at least defensively looked in control. Unfortunately there was very little movement making our usual passing game look very average. Highlight of the first half was 1-on-1 for Francois who did well to get into space but could not place his shot past the keeper from inside the penalty box.
nSecond half much of the same for the first 15-20min. Realising we were not creating much we going forward we changed our formation to a 3-4-3…this worked a lot better and in the last 20 min we hit the crossbar 3 times, had 2 or 3 open shots from inside the box but unfortunately it was too little too late.
We need to get some urgency, passion and desire into our game if want to lift our performance on the field again. Man of the match only really 1 option – Olivier Lacour who was solid all the way through and hit the crossbar twice. Towards the end of last season we regretted the ‘easy’ points we dropped and lost at the beginning of the season…we have started in similar fashion this season and we really need to make sure we pick up full points from our next few games…come on Latini Forza e Onore, sempre!!
Thanks to Hibs for good game. Referee did ok…
