Maximum points against a tough opponent!

Credit to Nippon who played with desire and ability, expecially within the second half but the SCC overall was too strong and overpowered them in the first half to put the game beyond doubt.

The first half seen the SCC create a host of chances and whilst putting only 3 of them away showed good patterns of play with the wide men and the front two always looking dangerous.  The defenders of the SCC were comfortable enough apart from the goal they conceded from a ball over the top with the Nippon forward finishing very well.  All in all a solid half against a good Nippon team.

The second half seen Nippon largely dominate precedings and put the SCC under more pressure but the counter attacking football of the SCC was sublime at times and should have seen a lot more goals from the yellow men, but only managing to add another 2 to their tally.

The goals came from Nahar Daud who scored a hat-trick and Hutch who scored a brace.  The squad of the SCC on the day was tremendous with quality players having to sit out of the game.  The secret to the SCC success this year is the ability and attitude of the squad who realise the big picture to a winning team is the .... TEAM.

The MOM for the day is a tough one for me to select due to the fact that no player actually stood out above the rest. I would like to give it to Nakamura on the sideline who done more running on the sideline watching than I actually did on the field of play!!!  But it goes to Nahar Daud for a hat-trick of goals altthough he knows he could have had 2 hat-tricks....  but saying that... he got into the positions which is exactly what you want for every striker.
