A hot day at ITE Tampines awaited the Brewerkz and P.Ubin. After our disappointing draw last week, the Brewerkz were in determined mood to get all three points, and it showed.

The first half saw the Brewerkz dominate, playing some quality football. Big Kelly up front was a constant threat together with young Phil McCormick. The first goal came via a quick break, Kelly playing a delightful through ball to Stuart, who drove the ball under the keeper with his weaker foot. Quality finish.

P.Ubin soon pulled a goal back, against the run of play after a mistake from Jon gifted the P.Ubin striker a goal , albeit via a mis kick.

The Brewerkz team did not let the set back stop them from playing football and always looked like going on to win the game. The lead was soon restored after a magic one two between Phil and Kelly made it 2-1. First goal Kelly has rolled in the net , composure from Kelly, a good sign indeed.

It was soon 3-1 after a solo effort from Ganesh saw him drift past three players and finish with style.

The second half was a tad routine, with Brewerkz failing to take any more of their chances. Marshaled well at the back by Fulvio and Dave, we never looked like losing a goal and went on to record a 3 1 win.

Well played to P.Ubin , always a competitive game played in the right spirit.
