Swiss continue winning streak on a baking hot afternoon
Swiss notched their 3rd win in as many games after beating the Hibs on the large (but nice) PSA pitch on a 3pm game!

Swiss took control of the game from the start, enjoyed lot's of possession but created little clear cut chances upfront. The last and final pass usually was played too hasty and as a result seldom reached the player intended. Around 20 minutes were played when Michel took events into his hand and after some neat passing he had little problems to beat the keeper on a one-to-one situation. 1:0 for the Swiss team, which played with a newly patched defence with Hakim in goal. Not many chances for the Hibs in the half, the best one fell to "our" Andy Clarke but he failed to hit the target after some misunderstanding in the Swiss defence after a corner kick. Swiss had 1-2 decent chances before halftime to increase the lead, but failed to materialize on them. 1:0 up for the Swiss at half time.

Second half started pretty much the same, Swiss in control, but not really very decisive in front of the goal. Everybody knows the simple rule in soccer - you don't score - you might get punished. Shortly after missing out on a 100% chance Swiss team got caught on a break from the Hibs - the cross from the right was deflected into our own goal by one of our defenders. 1:1 the new score, completely against the way of play.

But we knew we couldn't afford to drop more points if we wanted to move up the table. So we kept pressing and it was only a few minutes after the equalizer that Thomas headed a free-kick into the path of Christian who beat the keeper from a tight angle - 2:1 Swiss. We knew, we shouldn't make the same mistake again, so we kept pressing forward. Hibs continued to create some half chances mainly through corner kicks which were not always dealt with the necessary attention on our side. It was finally our captain - Heinz Steinegger - who increased our lead a nice shot just from the 16 yard box in the far corner with his strong left foot - classy! Francis put the game into safe hands just 1-2 minutes later, with another perfect shot from the 16 yard box, this time into the right top corner. Game over and we were able to play the rest of the time down successfully.

Thanks to the Hibs for a fair game - on a incredible hot and sunny afternoon - blue sky and not a single cloud... Also thanks to the officials for a good game.
