A poor performance
On the fantastic SSS pitch, Ubin quickly took control of the game, showing more spirit, composure and physical impact than OGS. Ubin would get numerous clear opportunities but  somehow couldnt put one in. A good 20m shot by Alex was our only chance in the first half, despite Alessandro's good work upfront. Ubin's defense was steady and well organized around their number 4.
0-0 half time score was really lucky for us and Ubin deserved better.
Second half and Ubin would score the opener on a corner, where OGS defense left alone one Ubin player who would blast a header.
This seemed to wake us up for a while and 5min pressure upfront resulted in Fred Ribac getting the equalizer, after a good collective action. The game seemed to even up and OG could not rise up the pace and be dangerous. With our midfielder and Man of the match Fred Carron out due to thigh injury after 60', we lost presence in the midfield, and balance in the team. On the other end Ubin would not let go and would score twice , again on headers, benefiting from OG defense generousity and weak mark up , on a corner and 40m free kick.
Congrats to Ubin for a fair game. No doubt they deserved the victory.
Even though they had no influence on the final result, the referees were not very good today, especially one of the linesmen who had weird positioning leading to strange decisions about off-sides and could not see one ball clearly out of the pitch.
