Hard to swallow
Rangers-OGS game took place under good weather conditions on a fair pitch. OGS squad was reduced to 12 players instead of the 14 initially registered, due to last minute issues. OGS played seriously and more or less controlled the game. We got 4 or 5 occasions to score, but great saves of Rangers goalkeeper prevent us from scoring early. Rangers got few opportunities, the best one on a free kick deflected by the far post.

Ater 20 min OGS would lose our keeper Christophe due to knee injury. Left back Benjamin took his place and we had to use our only sub, Fred. However, OGS would not be too affected and after a great one-two with "Lucho" , Fred would blast in the opener from 25m. Second half, OGS kept getting opportunities thanks to the speed of the forwards but none of them could go in. Rangers would try to push but without too much pressure, except on cornerkicks. OGS would end the game with 10 players , as Julien was exhausted and got muscle aches. In injury time Rangers would get a penalty kick for a hand in our d-box. They scored and the referee whistled the end of the game.

OGS players were very disappointed by the final outcome, as we deserved the 3 points.

Thanks to the 3 referees, excellent and fair today.

Thanks to Rangers for a fair and well spirited game.
