We knew Latini would be a difficult match indeed and we took nothing for granted.  A good SCC performance to be fair but no goals and two nil down did not look good.

The SCC managed to claw their way back with a freekick finding its way to Rogers who stabbed home from 2 yards to make it 2 - 1 at Half time.  Not long after the break, Dom smashed a superb volley from outside the box on the right side to get the SCC back in the game.

Latini certainly had different plans by taking the lead again with 25 minutes to go in this match.  Subs were made and a slight change in the formation to see the SCC work hard for their just rewards which was a headed goal by Monaghan and a great winner from Hutcheon with 10 minutes to go.

A very entertaining match and of course the SCC was the happier of the teams but credit to Latini for a super game.  The team spirit of the SCC is second to none and the lads were excellent all over.
