This plate semi- final was played in good spirit. OG line up was diminished due to absences, mainly upfront. Substitute did what they could to delay the defeat.
The game started badly for OG has poor passing and poor clearance helped the Germans to get the opener after 10mn. Germans defence was very hard to pass and well organized, but OG tried to create some opportunities. Germans would score a second one on corner kick, without being too dangerous till then. But they dominated the midfield , with number 8 and 34 doing a great job.
2-0 halftime.
OG would wake up a bit after 20mn in second half and would get some shots and cornerkicks. A German handball was logically sanctioned with a penalty kick, coolly put in by Captain Nicolas. OG started to hope, but Germans determination was higher that ours and was rewarded by two more goals in 5mn.
Nothing more to say, the best team won and Germans gave us a lesson of simple football. Congrats to them and good luck for the finale. We'll meet them again this week-end for a league game. Let's hope to play better.
