A Great Improvement
After a few indifferent results we were a bit aprehensive prior to entertaining our bogey team on a yellow/dry ITE Tampines. Tampines must have been starved of rain for about six weeks. Luckily the grass had been cut and for all the firmness the pitch played alright. We got off to the best of starts when after only 3 minutes Elliot picked his spot after some excellent build up play and drove the ball into the far corner with his new replica(Macca said they are) boots. We continued to dominate the first half possesion and some of our passing was the best we have seen this season. Unfortunately, no more goals came before the break and we reminded ourselves how dangerous Nippon can be in the second half, especially with their fitness and enthusiam. Fortunately, neither materialised and we scored three more goals and again dominated the play. There were some superb performances notably Jamie and Rick our new wing back pairing who worked tirelessly, although for me I Kris Emerton was our MOM.
