R-Rated match
Even though it was raining the entire weekend the pitch at ITE Tampines was in good condition allowing a nice match between Casuals and GAS.
The Germans again with a strong Line-up were eager to beat Casuals again as we did back in November. Saying this we expected a highly motivated Casuals side and that proofed to be true.
It was a even match between two equal teams, but Casuals reminded the Germans why they are ranked in the Top 3 - they clinically finished their 2 Chances of the first half to make it 2-0. The Germans, knowing that they were still able to get something out of this game brang on Sascha to create some noise in the Casuals half but right after the beginning it was again the Casuals hitting in another one after a great header in midfield by their bald guy. So 3 - Nil after 50 Minutes - but GAS yet to give up playing 20 minutes only in the Reds half. At the end of this period it was very strong playing 15-year old Marco to score his first goal for GAS. Another counterattack saw Casuals even making it 4-1 and in the very last minute is was debut boy Thomas to close the game with his debut goal.
Considering the domination of GAS in the second half (hitting crossbar twice, a lot more ball possesion) a better result would have been all right, but after two very close games this season it is a fair reflection that both teams got 3 points out of it.
Thanks Casuals for a nice and tight encounter - that match surely deserved more than the 5 German visitors. All the best for the rest of the season, as it is not the title this year at least the title for the game with the most F-Words :-)

MoM finally to Marco who had some very strong Games and deserved it - Team, well done and with this effort we gonna have a successfull Derby against Vikings next week!
