Another Clean Sheet
Tampines now resembles a beach soccer arena, the colour identical, the texture is not. Artificial must be the only way to go in Singapore, even the best pitches are now in appalling condition.
Anyway, after last weeks game we had to guard against getting carried away and it was at least we thought going to be tough without our captain and our top goalscorer not to mention Buffy, Ezzo and Jeff all missing, oh and then Jamie falls off his bike and we only have 13. Didn't matter as it happens, much of the first half was spent in the midfield which both teams crowded, to be fair our keeper only touched the ball 3 times in the first half and not many more times than that in the second. Great opening goal from Ahlang who went on to torment Rangers all afternoon, unfortunately for them he got at them and they lost their discipline. At half time we had to make the only two changes we could, our midfield maestro Macca got a kick in the ribs and young Ishaan got injured as well. We switched back to 4-4-2 putting Jake in the back four and Gavin up front, yes our new scoring sensation, knocked in a couple either side of Rangers players taking early baths. 3 nil in the finish and another clean sheet, real toughie next week, but with most players returning it should be close to call.
