Gaulois vs Swiss

Game started pretty slowly as the two teams seemed to observe each other. OG would get two or three good opportunities upfront but could not score. 0-0 was a fair result at Halftime. Second half started on a faster pace and Swiss would get the opener after 5 mn. Gaulois would not let go and tried to get back into the game. Then some poor refereeing decision would seal the deal. After forgetting one obvious penalty during the first half, the referee would follow his assistant decision who raise the flag and then put it down while a Swiss striker broke out. In the meantime our defense had stopped seeing the flag raised. The Swiss forward could then put it in all all alone. Too much for a tired OGS team that slowly gave up the game to the Swiss, letting them score 2 more goals, but putting one in thanks to Laurent.
Nothing to say about being beaten by a Swiss team solid but not magnificent. OGS fought well overall, but it's not the first time that they were not helped by poor abitral decisions in crucial moment. Let just hope for a fresh start next year.n
