Another frustrating result
OGS hopes were high before the game. We knew it was going to be tough, but that we could get something from that encounter. Nippon started very well with a lot of quick passing in the midfield. They had 3 good chances in the first half, all saved by Dimitri at the top of his game today. But OGS would slowly but surely take control of the game, dominating the midfield with Alex, Massar and Daniel containing Nippon. Tamby scored the opener after a fantastic header consecutive to a beautiful ball dished out by Benjamin. In the following ten minutes OGS would get two or three very good chances to lead 2-0, but unfortunately couldn't convert any of them.
Halftime , 1-0 up, we knew that pressure from Nippon would get more intense.
Beginning of second half would see Nippon pushing harder, playing with three very mobile strikers, but oGS defnese and midfield would manage to hold on. On the other side, our passing game upfront was less acccurate and we could not convert 3 other opportunities.
75': a break through from Nippon striker, who shot , Dimitri saved the ball but the clearance went rebounding on two players and getting in. OGS was in shock , and tried to wake up but luck was japanese today and five minutes later Japanese "Zico" shot a floating ball from 40 meters that stunned everyone including dimitri and went in.
During the final ten minutes, OGS tried to get the equalizer but without success.
Credits to :
- Nippon, for a fair game. They have a lot of qualities and should be in the top ten this year.
- the referees, for a very good game.
- Dimitri, who played his best game to date. Hopefully not the last one.

As for the team, it's another frustrating result, but we are improving and bad luck should not last the whole year.
