Clean sheet!
After recent weeks of shipping more goals than containers at the PSA docks the Hibs managed to keep a clean sheet and secure a narrow victory over Ubin.  The talk before the game was about keeping our shape and working as a team to defend.  Across the pitch everyone worked hard to close down space and not to allow Ubin players the chance to turn and run at the defense.

Guy Cross captained the side in his last appearance for the Hibs before leaving for home back in San Francisco and his energy down the right flank was top draw as always.  Not many chances were been created by either team and the match was won with a great finish by Clarky who took a early shot off his right boot to lob the ball powerfully over the keeper from 20 yards out.

With our noses in front the half time talk was about been disciplined and keeping the ball.  The second half saw Ubin having the majority of the play as they pushed for an equalizer but the Hibs defense stood strong and despite running out of subs for injured players the Hibs held strong and took the 3 points.

All the defenders played well and could have been MOM but Tunners commitment stood out and deservedly he gets the MOM for this week.

Thanks to Ubin for a fair game - despite the yellow card count, the referee's didn't help the game or themselves with a poor performance but both sides gave their all and good luck to Ubin for the rest of their season.
