 Last game on thenseason with a seat for the 3rd place up to the 6th place at stakenone depending on the other games. We were missing 4-5 regulars but everyonenelse was present on time for the last game of Jeje who is leaving to live innBali :-))

nLatini started the game quite well putting pressure down the wings with annexcellent first 20 min from Jun and the midfield.

nWe had several chances by Olive/Adrien/Angel & Co to score the opener butnwe had to wait 20 min to do so by Angel after a nice move in the midfield withnAdrien giving a brilliant assist.

nNonetheless, the next 5 min are a typical example of the maturity we arenmissing to be an even better team. We had a brilliant opportunity by Olive whonmissed, then within a few seconds of that one, we got a deserved red cardnbecause Brenan was going for a one on one after what was not even an action ofnUbin. Two minutes later it was a goal on....CORNER this drives me up the wall. nHaving said that, the next part of the game also reflects the progress we didnas a team but also individually. Jun had to go out for Bambino Patzo at thenback. Latini let Ubin have the ball for the rest of the first half (about 30nmin to go) and decided to work on counter attacks which worked well since OlivenMagaud scored his 35th goal of the season after another assist from Gaetannstraight from the back.

nWe knew the second half was going to be difficult, Ubin having a really goodnteam in midfield.

nAs expected they took possession of the game but after 20 minutes, we alreadynmade the difference by Benji and it could have been 2 goals more as we hit thenbar. Adrien finished the game rightfully for an overall terrific win.

nUbin has quality and with selective new players will do certainly well nextnyear.

nGood game for the 5 @ the back, Cuong being very reassuring.  Brilliantnperformance from Adrien & Lacourt, and Benji, decisive in the 45 min henplayed. Midfield worked tiresless to protect the defense and placed thencounterattacks to win the game. I think MOM goes to Matteo for a very goodnsecond half although Adri/Lacourt deserved the credits also.

nWe finish 4th or 5th, it does not really matter anyway. It could have been 3rdnbut Brewerks did a great come back in the Swiss game. What matters is the brilliantnsecond part of the season. We were 15 points and 17 points behind the top 3n& 4. We had 5 points after 9 games or so. So overall great stuff, greatnfootball, great spirit. Congrats to SCC players and manager Owen for annoutstanding season (26 wins, 2 draws !!!) . Congrats also to Hibs for a veryngood first one. The season has been very good overall. No easy game, itsngetting better and better every year including ref and pitches. Next year willnbe extremely difficult to repeat our 11 wins out of 12 games excluding Cup. Nextnseason SCC will still be leading the league for sure (I did not say win) and behindnthere will be a very fierce but fair battle for the top 5
