Casuals 1 - 1 Brewerkz
Casuals knew this would be a difficult game against a consistent Brewerkz side but still started very slowly on a grassy pitch at ITE Simei. However, after riding the early stages, the reds came to life and started to put some good passing moves together. One of these moves resulted in a cross from Cowie and a strike from goal-machine Cannings to put Casuals one up.
As the half wore on, Tom and Dom both missed good chances but with Marc in goal relatively untroubled, it looked like it would be a matter of when, not if, a second Casuals goal would come.
Going into the second period, the match became more even but chances for both sides remained elusive. Eventually, though, Brewerkz found the equaliser with a long range effort after Casuals were disposessed in midfield.
On paper, not too bad a result for the Casuals who have been relatively inconsistent against Brewerkz in the last couple of seasons. However, going on chances created, Casuals should have sewn this game up before half time and consequently came off the field disappointed with the draw.
