Not many positives to derive from this catastrophic result. First 20-minutes were a draw, but the next 25 became a disaster, giving the ball away far too easily, and giving up too many unchallenged looks. We went into the half with a somewhat respectable deficit of 3-0.

Second half was an extension of the same, and too remniscient of the adage that when it rains it pours. SCC certainly didn't take their foot off the gas pedal. Christian Schulthess provided the only spark with a goal in the 70th minute, but that was the only life we showed. That is, until the ball struck a bees nest, riled up a swarm, and sent both squads and the referees scampering off the pitch.

Strong showing by SCC and its clear that they are in control of their own destiny this season. For the Swiss, its back to the drawing board. Time to regroup and get back on our feet.
