60 mins of joy, 30 mins of missery
A big Ubin squad with some more 3 regulars back for our 2nd game of the season.

Ubin played brilliantly for 60 minutes, battling and passing well, and making Casuals looking very average. We created good chances, with the biggest hitting the post after less than a minute played.

Casuals hit back after about an hour played, on a swift counter attack following an Ubin corner. An unnecessary tackle in the box gave a Casuals penalty 5 minutes later. Then it was all over. Ubin lost the intensity they had for the better parts of the game and Casuals got the necessary time to play the ball around. Two more goals followed.

More fitness needed in the Ubin team, and I am sure a few more matches would do well to integrate the many new faces in the team. Then Ubin has shown that they can play on level with the regular trophy contending teams.

Good efforts by many players, but worth to mention Rob and Danny who dominated in central midfield.
